EWA’s House Charity - Children in Need
Every year, EWA proudly supports BBC Children in Need, the important charity that aims to positively change the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in the UK.
The company has been supporting the charity since 1992 and raises money by holding an annual, company wide fun day with staff arranging a whole host of events and activities including:
• Charity Auction - Using EWA's very own online auction site - selling items donated by suppliers, staff and clients.
• The kidnap and ransom of senior members of staff!
• A Las Vegas style charity casino
• An extremely popular car valeting service
• Various food and cake sales during the week leading up to the event
2009 marked the eighteenth anniversary of EWA’s support of Children in Need and in that time we have raised over £80,000. It is the generous nature and spirit of EWA staff that has led to this outstanding level of contribution.
