Launch of Merial CRM Programme

Building on its long-term and successful relationship with Merial Animal Health, EWA will shortly be launching a new contact management programme for the animal pharmaceutical specialist designed to develop and deepen relationships with existing customers and support Merial’s field based sales force.

“We’re creating a team of experienced CRM specialists that will be integrated into our existing Merial Customer Service Centre”, commented Ellie Dobson, Merial Account Manager at EWA. “It’s an exciting development both for EWA and the Merial team. We’ve been working closely with the Merial sales team for many years now, supporting them across a range of sales and marketing campaigns to both distributors and end users. Now, for the first time, we will have a consistent programme of customer contact and development, helping Merial to grow their business in the important Veterinary, Pharmacy, Pet Shop and Trade Distributor sectors.”

Using its knowledge, facilities and experience, EWA is ideally placed to manage the new programme which will handle direct contact with selected Merial customers and provide support to the Merial field force allowing them to refocus resources onto major, key accounts.

Looking to the future, EWA will look to develop the programme further through the use of Customer Insight by developing an enhanced ‘value based’ CRM communications model. Through analysis this will identify prospect opportunities and increase sales with existing customers.
